The 45th WERC Annual Conference from the Warehouse Education & Resource Council will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center. Keynotes from Laila Ali and economic futurist, Andrew Busch. Sample programs include Sci-Fi No More: Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Boost Forklift Safety in the Warehouse and Labor Recruitment, On-boarding & Retention: Best Practices from the Front Lines along with facility tours at Ryder, Toyota, and DHL.

Timing Bonus: If you can stay around town until the weekend, the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby is Saturday, May 7th. 

The International Warehouse Logistics Association will host the IWLA Convention & Expo at the Omni Amelia Island Resort. Programs include Keynote Address: Dave Barry Looks at the Supply Chain, Tech: Customer Requests & Expectations – Up Time, Visibility, and More, and Warehouse Law & Order (Dun Dun). Check out other IWLA events going on throughout 2022.

In an annual rotation with MODEX, ProMat returns to Chicago next year. With the last iteration in March of 2021 and two shows ago in 2019, there’s likely to be pent-up demand for the event. McCormick Place, the largest convention center in North America, will play host to more than 50,000 attendees along with what will surely be a record-setting number of exhibitors.
